Key Fob Batteries

The tool is used to push into the shallow section of the fob's back which will then fall away to reveal the battery. Place the battery inside with the positive side facing upwards and then screw the cover back on.
You may be able to see the battery through the key fob's casing, but if not, look for an inside groove of the case that holds the battery in place. It should be slightly narrower than the keyhole and located just below the key's internal blade.
After the battery is replaced, you can reassemble the BMW fob. Connect it to your keychain. Then, you'll be in a position to unlock your car with the fob and restart it.
